    Openfire admin console not login after changing the domain ip address for active directory

      Hi ,

       

      Could you please suggest us the process to fix the issue.

       

      We have changed AD IP address, due to this we are unable to login to open fire server console and spark client not able to login.

       

      AD IP address : 192.168.1.50 changed to 192.168.4.8

       

      Open fire server ip address : 192.168.4.4

          Hi

           

          Strange that changing IP did this problem to your Openfire setup.

           

          We did as well changed our  AD IP address but we didn't had such issue.

           

          The procedure we did for changing the AD IP address is this.

           

          - Demoted the AD to WORKSTATION

          - Changed the IP address of the AD

          - Promote the Server to AD using the new IP add

          - Backup OpenFire configuration

          - Demoted the OpenFire Server back to Workstation

          - Change IP add on the range of the new IP

          - Promoted again to the new AD connection.

          - Restored back the OpenFire Configuration.

           

          That's it. Ship sailed smoothly.
