So I am new to openfire 4.0.4 and have tried to install openfire on Win server 2008r with embedded db. Install goes fine but the password for a new install “admin” does not work. AM I missing something?
Uninstall it cleanly and try again. This time set your own password. You also have to login with user ‘admin’. I would also suggest to install into C:\Openfire or install a service for it (or both).
