You can use Monitoring Service plugin for Openfire to store and search conversations on the server. Or use Openfire’s internal logging (less readable format). Spark will still save transcripts locally, unless you turn it off in the settings.
P.S. Monitoring Service plugin is known to be unstable, so i can’t recommend it without a doubt, but this is the only suitable solution for this at the moment.
