I am having some problems installing Client Control plugin in my OpenFire. I tried to install it via Available Plugins, but after two days - is still did not appear in Plugins. I tried to download the .jar from this website and upload it - still without success. What can I do?

What Openfire version are you using? There should be some related errors in the logs.
The latest one, I installed it yesterday. How can I check the log file? Can I do it via Openfire Admin Panel or do I have to use my root/admin account? Where can I find this file?
Logs are available in Admin Console in the Logs menu. It is also available via file system (in /openfire/logs). What OS are you using?
I chose Debian.

Install Java 7.

Uploading it manually won’t change anything as this plugin needs Java 7 to work. What version did you install? OpenJDK? Can you install Oracle’s? What Java version does Admin Console show on the start page?
