Asterisk-IM refresh "on the phone" status

Hi,

i’ve encountered a problem in this particular scenario:

Desktop client (jitsi) and one hardphone logged with the same username on Openfire (the hardphone by the mapping on Asterisk-im).
If the hardphone receives/makes a call asterisk-im changes the status on “on the phone”, but after a while the status returns to “online” (or the same of the desktop client), because openfire “reads” the status of Jitsi and so refreshes it.

So i wonder if there’s a solution to refresh the status of the hardphone every 5seconds while it is on the phone.

I’m using Openfire 3.9.3, Asterisk-IM 1.4.0

To prevent confusions like this, for each jabber device you should have a separate extension in Asterisk and a corresponding jabber user. I think you may be shooting yourself in the foot trying to have multiple devices connecting to the same jabber user.
