Objective :To get the organization hierarchy replicated in the instant messenger.
Environment : Server: Openfire 3.6.2
Client: Spark 2.5.8
What is working?
I have been able to get the sub groups work by using :: seperator.
What is not working?
The sub sub groups are not working.
So when I enter:
Level1::Level2::Level3
I want it to appear as:
Level1
Level2
Level3
But it appears as:
Level2
Level3
Questions?
How to get sub sub groups kind of display working with openfire and Spark.
If spark IM client does not have this feature will some other IM client like psi or exodus allow me to get a tree structure on the client side ?
Thanks

3 levels of sub groups: Tree is good.
4 levels of sub groups: Tree is good.
5 levels of sub groups: Breaks the tree.
6 levels of sub groups: Breaks the tree.
7 levels of sub groups: Tree is good.
8 levels of sub groups: Breaks the tree.
9 levels of sub groups: Breaks the tree.
10 levels of sub groups: Breaks the tree.
What is causing this ?
Please look at the attached screen shots.
If you want me to do some additional testing let me know.

Hi. This thread should be moved to Spark Support forum actually. As Openfire has nothing to do with the nesting. This nesting is a virtual one supported by some clients (Exodus, Spark). Issue with the Spark nesting is a long standing. I have reported it some time ago. Here are some related bug tickets:
http://www.igniterealtime.org/issues/browse/SPARK-709
http://www.igniterealtime.org/issues/browse/SPARK-1015
http://www.igniterealtime.org/issues/browse/SPARK-946 this is probably not related to your second bug report, but Spark sometimes has issues with lining up groups.
UPD: i have added a link to this thread in SPARK-709 description.
