Group sharing

We are a call center and the upper management does not want the operators chatting with each other but they DO want them to be able to chat with supervisors and other departments in the company.  I have figured out how to deny roster invitation requests and share their group with supervisors and other employees, however, I cannot figure out how to restrict the group they are a member of from showing up in their roster.  Any ideas on this one?

    OF-164 is set for 3.7.1, which could be a solution for your request. Though i won't hope for this to be made soon. No guarantees at all. I would suggest Packet Filter plugin, but as you can read in comments of that ticket, it won't allow you to hide users of the same group. So, no solution so far.
