From one of my users:
when i open the chat window in yahoo messager it show this message:
"[account name] is using an older version of Yahoo! Messenger and certain features may be unavailable. Click here to invite ramasusthegreat to upgrade."
Can someone look into this. This is embaresing ![]()
Gosh, wish this was on sourceforge - more people could help.
Funny you should mention that. http://www.sf.net/projects/openymsg
of course, unfortunately there's an issue with svn at the moment, so I haven't gotten the code over there yet, but it's coming.
Oh, that rocks. Add me in as a dev there (same userid).
Maybe I can check it in with my tools easier ![]()
I'll add you but it's not about the tools it's about I want to keep the history from here and sync the repos and I screwed up and now i'm waiting on sourceforge to reset the repository. =) After that it'll be fine. But yeah, once things are going there I'll add you for sure! =)
Lol. It's easier to nuke the tree than waiting for those guys. ![]()
TortoiseSVN, use RepoBrowser, it'll show you whole tree - you can nuke entire thing in 1 shot. software goodness!
When you are done - drop me an email - I'll add my fixes to couple 'o things (like callbacks not being called etc).
Still d/n fix the problem with "old version" or not all contacts showing up or updates to user list after contact being accepted. But with little luck ppl will fix that there. I will shamelessly go and post in ymsg after this is up
should bring the crowd in.
Right but like I said, I want to keep the -entire history- of the project. Nuking it just means I copy in a fresh copy. Not the same thing. =)
Anyway, totally! I'm looking forward to your addtions! Where you based off the latest trunk? It normally doesn't take SF -that- long to get back to me on such things .... once I got past the person who thought I just couldn't access my repo... (sigh)
Yeah, my changes are off the latest cut (as of October; there haven't been any changes since).
Oh, hehe. yeah, i don't blame them, most people's problems are exactly that - easy stuff.
hit me up on IM or something, we'll get it updated in a jiffy and go trawl ppl in to fix this stuff. I think everyone is frastrated with Kitty's lack of support and refusal to give it to someone else to maintain. He's around, I see him posting on sun's dev site. So sad.
Glad this is moving in right direction. Guus is a nice guy, but is also a busy guy, so this is for the best, for everyone!
You've been reset, I do believe.
Impatient? ;D
Actually... something is still screwed up. =/ Waiting on them.
Yeah, maybe a little ![]()
I posted here that it should be moved to SF on Oct 2 ![]()
After a client was yelling at me for this thing not working.
So now that it's "almost there", I am getting ants in my pants.
heheh understood I'll let you know asap when it's up!
It's up! (finally) And you have access to the svn repo at this point.
Ok, you area all patched. Lets go get some users ![]()
