Auditing

Openfire saves the chats as .log. How do i view them with just the text and the username so that i can audit it more accurately. Excuse the ignorance i am new to this app.

    Hi,

     

    as it is XML you may want to create a DTD to display it a little more user friendly. It's a raw format for basic auditing, so I hope that you don't want to look at it often.

    If you want to look at it often you should the Enterprise Plugin or take a look at Non-Jive Openfire Plugins, there are some log plugins available. Open Archive (XEP-0136) sounds very promising, I'd try this first. netLog may be fine if you want to audit only a few users.
