Bria 3 client configuration with Openfire

HEY GUYS ,

IF YOU WANT A GOOD SOFTPHONE FOR OPENFIRE THEN BRIA IS IT.

IT TOOK FOREVER TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET IT WORKING WITH OPENFIRE.

TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, HERE ARE SCREEN SHOTS ON HOW TO CONFIGURE BRIA CORRECTLY FOR OPENFIRE.

REMEMBER THEIR IS A FREE VERSION (X-LITE) THAT ONLY HANDLES SIP. I ALSO INCLUDED THE MANUEL FOR BRIA IN PDF FORMAT.

XMPP does not work with Bria and openfire. What would be the setting if you use Spark in you environment?

Well, Bria (XMPP) does not work in our openfire environment. We have openfire 3.7.1 and the latest Bria (3.3.2). The syntax for username and password seem correct but it does not connect. When I use Pidgin with the same settings it works right away.

The bria is paid software. you are permitted 1 install only.

oh it worked for me, but no video, if spark, or spark web was worked on you could have a all in one. audio and video intergrated with spark, and make it so we can skin it.

hey,

well openfire works fine with regular text chat using xmpp.

real quick( sip and xmpp have capabilitys of both audio and video. xmpp has only text on openfire. sorry i didnt answer the original question)

take some screen shots of your config on bria the paid version. so i might be able to find the problem. i need the same pics as the ones above.

Someone make this works??? We have bria 3 and openfire 3.7.1 but we can make that xmpp works, always failed, bria can´t login. The same account work with spark, jitsi,etc…

Also we try the **Steel Reign **action ( Regenerate server certificates -> http://community.igniterealtime.org/message/221137#221137) but doen´t work.

Some ideas?

It is a Bria bug/feature. You have to put something (anything you want) in the resource field in the account settings.

Btw Bria is not a very good XMPP client. It has some bugs and missing features (compared to Spark and possibly other XMPP clients).

real quick

check to see the sip user id and the xmpp user id are seprated in openfire and on bria settings

they are two diffrent monsters. Oh the screen shot is fuzzy to hard to see!
